The best movie i've seen this year was probably The Prestige. I thought the acting was amazing, Micheal Cane did a great job along with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bail. Also every shot in that movie was very artsy and had a purpose. The worst movie i saw was Idle Hands i don't know why i watched it but it was the worst movie, it was supposed to be a comedy horror but turned out terrible.
Elena Hutton
I really enjoyed Borat. I'm extreemly disapointed that this movie wasn't nominated by anything at the Ocars. The way that this movie was made, and the characterization is wonderful. I also really liked Casino Royale. Very nice Bond film. Also Little Miss Sunshine, haven't laughed that hard in a movie for quite a while.
I don't really have a movie that I didn't like. Only OK movies.
Douglas Hamilton-
The best movie that I have seen was Apocolypto. It has very good acting and screenshots. Just the whole way it is acted out with no english and more of body language with action makes it great.
The worst movie i have seen is grudge 2. It is not interesting and just dumb. Thats all i have to say.
My favorite t.v. show is Rob and Big. It is really funny. And rob is awesome cause he is a pro skateboarder. The Director is the same director for The jackass movies.

For me, the best movie (though I am still currently reviewing this) is United 93. It was a powerful film on a tragic day in the history of the US, and I felt this film was respectful of its subject matter. Paul Greengrass uses a documentary style of filmmaking to make the events seem more realistic, and I can't think of how this movie would've been better done.
The worst movie I've seen this year is Silent Hill, the video game-based movie that really makes no sense. Once you think you've figured it out, the ending reverses everything you knew and then leaves you confused and befuddled. It's visual effects were standard, and it's acting and script was...wooden.
TV show...this was a year when I discovered a love for TV shows, and my tops were South Park, 24, and Arrested Development. My favorite of the shows was 24, though South Park closely ties it. 24 is an addiciting show that reflects our fear of terrorists in this day and age, bringing about disatrous results we could not even begin to imagine happening in our lives. Though sometimes is has plot holes the size of the Grand Canyon, and the first five episodes of Season Six have left me underwhelmed, I still enjoy the TV show immensely.

Best movie I have seen in a while is Borat. I laughed the entire movie.
Worst movie i saw was this year was The Lake House. Keanu Reeves can not act and the movie was lame. P.S. i hate Brandon Baker.
Favorite show is Entourage. Jeremy Piven is amazing on the show, i would watch it for just him.
Sky-
My favorite movie that I've seen in the past year would have to be Saw and Saw II (I haven't seen Saw III yet. :-/ ) My reasoning is because I'm a real thriller/horror movie buff, and those movies in my mind, fulfilled everything I like about horrors and thrillers. There's a HUGE twist in both movies that makes you re-think the entire movie, an that kind of Psychological twist really makes me like the movie.
The movie that I've seen in the past year that I didn't like is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. I LOVED the original movie, but this movie didn't have that great of a story line. It seemed like all that they were tryng to do with the movie is make it as gorey and scary as possible. (Yeah, it was gorey, but not THAT scary.) Although, there were some VERY cool scenes.
The Office is my favorite television show just because it's hilarious. I don't know anyone that doesn't like it. It's just good over-all.

The best movie I saw this year, in the theatres, is The Prestige. That movie was simply amazing. I've hardly seen a movie where I didn't waant it to end, but this was one of them. The acting was superb, the twists were excellent and (to me, at least) jaw dropping, the music was wonderful, and the plot astounding.
The other movie I saw this year that left a mark in my memory was Donnie Darko. That movie made my brai explode in the end. When I watched it, it was the kind of movie where you were waiting for it to end, but didn't want it to... if that makes any sense. That movie was one word: fabulous - in every way.
And, just as an add on, another good movie I saw was Pirates of the CArribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Just if anyone cares.
The worst movie I saw this year, in theatres was, by FAR, Eragon. That movie SUCKED. This may be just my opinion, but the acting was terrible (given Eragon hadn't acted before, but that excuse doesn't give him the right to act worse that Anakin from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace), there were horribly obvious jump cuts (such as something is burning, then the camera angle changes and the fire is gone), and the onl;y good actors in it either died or were in three short scenes.
As for my favorite television show, it's a tie between South Park, The Simpsons, King of the HIll, and The Venture Brothers. All those shows are hilarious - though The Simpsons and South Park are really losing their plot ideas now. Either way, all those shows are great.
HUBLAH!
The best movie i saw this year was Borat. The main reason i enjoyed this film so much was that it was entertaining for the entire duration, there was not one dull or boring part. Another factor that was important was Sasha Baron Cohen stayed in character thoughout the entire film. He sold his part and was very believable and took great risks in order to produce the film. Although it didnt have great camera work or interesting editing it didnt need it. This film is one of the most entertaining things i have ever viewed it kept me laughing for an hour and a half.
The worst movie i saw this year and possibly ever was date movie. My brother bought this movie and i watched it with him. It was the worst hour and a half of my life. I am not a huge fan of parodies to begin with but this was the worst one i've seen. The humor was stupid to the point where it wasnt remotely funny. I wanted to leave after the first ten minutes, it was so bad. Do not wathc this.
I dont watch any shows regualarly. COLLEGE FOOTBALL.
(Joey Lince) Im not that big of a movie person so my results may not be that great.
Best Movie: Cars. I think I say that it is the best movie, only because of the company I was with. In my opinion the movie experience is not only in watching it, but who you see it with. The characters add so much, and break it down with their own style.
Bad Movie: Lake House. Its a chick Flick. Its also somewhat confusing. You really have to pay attention. Very predictable, weird, confusing, and just way out there. Since when could a mail box become a time machine?
Favorite Tv Shows: I would say Lost, and CSI Las Vegas. I lost interst in Lost after season one, but started watching it again and cant wait for season 3. As for CSI Las Vegas, I dunno its just good.

Children of men. This was one of my favorite movei I have seen this past year because it is kind of a complete (and believeable) view of the future. This is the movie when women become in fertil. Anyway I can't really say anything else without giving anything away. But the reason why I love this movie so much si that the action seems so real but its so believable.
Pans Labyinth (spelling?)
This was another very original movie. This movie is based in Spain during the Spanish civil war. It's pretty gory, but it isn't un neccesary gore. Im actually not someone who likes to tell people about movies, I just think people should see this movie..
I was disapointed with Inside Man because it kind of had a little build up, but the ending was very un satisying. You pretty much just need to watch the commercial instead of watching this movie.
I dont watch tv that much, but The Office is my favoirite show right now because it's really funny! I love how they shoot it like a documentary and how they can look at the camera and etc. It's just a great show!
Keegan Snow
The departed was my favorite movie this year. It was amazing in everyaspect. the premis is genius. There was alot of good suspence and the Decaprio and Damon were excelent in their roles.
the worst movie i saw this year was definately eragon. i would have hated it even if i hadnt read the book but since i did i hated it even more. the worst recreation of a book ive ever seen
My favorite tv show is Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. It is very well written and i love that its all about behind the scenes of an snl like show and its network.
The Pursuit of happiness was a really good movie, the acting in it is very good and the story is based off a true story which just adds to the emotion that the movie expresses
Although i haven't seen many bad movies happy feet was not all that good, maybe for little kids or girls but i thought it was somewhat boring.
Family guy is definatly my favorite TV show because it is always funny and clever
Best movies this year: Borat, Pirates 2, Casino Royale, Talladega Nights, Slither, The Ringer, and many others
Borat: Just a solid funny movie
Pirates 2: Good follow-up
Casino Royale: Great Bond movie that helped with the drought from other Bond movies
Talladega Nights: Will Ferrell is always amazing
Slither: I was amazed that the storyline worked with the movie
The Ringer: Fun to watch
Worst Movie: No question. John Tucker Must Die. If a movie like that could start strong but end horribly, it doesn't deserve my respect
Best TV Show: Everybody Hates Chris, Veronica Mars, and Rob & Big.
Everybody Hates Chris: It simply makes me laugh!!
Veronica Mars: Has been one of my favorite shows since 1st season but I hope that they can actually follow up to the other two this season
Rob & Big: I like shows that surprise me. This one is included.
Jason Quey
Best movie: Didn't see enough good movies to give this. Past favorite: X-men 2 (X-2), great opening sequence, nice fights, great surprises even if you know a lot (and even very little) about superheroes.
Worst movie (more for biggest letdown): Pirates 2. Way too many plot lines. Not enough conclusions. It ends with a cliffhanger that contradicts the first film. Too many people become pirates. If you weren't a pirate in the first film, you are in this one.
Favorite television show: House. Very humorous and sarcastic.
Kelsey Pomeroy
My favorite movie that i can remember seeing is probably the "Life of David Gale" because it was an amazing story that grabs onto you and doesnt even begin to let go until the credits. I loved that movie. You never expect what happens to happen and it was incredibly well made.
The worst movie I can remember seeing was "Stranger then Fiction". I have NO idea why I disliked it so much but it's the only movie I have ever walked out on before it was over. I got up and left the theatre. It wasn't what I was expecting from a Will Ferrel movie, and maybe it's just me and i should give it another chance but i really didnt like it at all
SEIJI
One of the best movie i say this year was The Goodshepard. the story was very entertaining and it havd quite a few twists. Matt Damon was excelent in the movie. he barly talks and when he does is almost indestingusable. I wil admit at some times the story got slow but overall it was good. THe cinimatography was quality. one shot in the movie I loved was in the interogatin room with the real and fake russian defacto. the camara goes throughthe two way glass and then one jumps out the window. I liked it some much because its based on true events and alec baldwin was in it so it had to be good.
The wors movie i saw this year was invincable with Markie Mark. the reason i didn't like it was because my favorate parts of football movies is the football and this movie was more about vince's live. even when it is football they are loseing or training.
My favorate tv show is my name is earl because jason lee is halirous and skates.
