Commercial Assignment

Requirements:
Fade In and Fade Out.
Commercial must be exactly one-minute.
Fifteen shot minimum-like music videos, most commercials use shots only two to five seconds in length.
Use music appropriate for the commercial and school group.
Use text to emphasize in writing what you are trying to sell. Create a nifty slogan or catch phrase. VERY IMPORTANT!
Use a variety of shots.
Shoot at least two complicated shots. For example, a ‘zoom in and pan’ or a ‘zoom out and truck’ etc.

You will need to know your product and tag line as soon as you get back from Spring Break.

Have a great time on vacation.

Music Video Due Dates

The last day to work on music videos in class is Monday April 18th. This will be the export day.
We will watch the music videos on the following days:
Shorewood April 19th
Shorecrest April 20th

Your next assignment is a 60 second commercial. Usually this is a school related assignment, however, I am leaving the product or event open-ended this time. In other words, you can choose anything that is school appropriate.
Your commercial must be exactly 60 seconds.
School-related commercials are still my preference.
Please start thinking about what you would like to create because this assignment moves along very quickly.
